Cat Mayes

I am fascinated by people, relationships, culture, language, the uniqueness found in every individual, and depicting that which connects all of us. 

I believe in the preservation of memory and consider it an honor to be given the task of telling a subject's story through my own eyes. I look at the world that God has placed me in through a different frame of mind, and I make an effort to share that with those who are willing to see what I see.

My camera is an extension of my mind, and with it I possess the dexterity to chase light and stop time.
